Domain 1 focuses on 3 key topics:

  • Understanding the needs of neurodiverse students
  • School leadership and culture
  • Working and co-producing change with parents and carers

The following Training workshops support with coverage of these topics which are included in the PINS Lincolnshire Menu of support found on the main page.
 
  • PINS 2 Day Developing Inclusive Leadership conference (Delivered live in Oct 24 and available soon via recording)-resources attached below

  • PINS Supporting needs-led SEND provision within school and what this looks like (Will be delivered on 19th and 27th March 25-see email for details-resources will then be added below and recordings available shortly afterwards)

All trainings below are available via either the WTT central offer (see Training calendar section of website) or through your WTT outreach teacher:
  • Autism Education Trust- Making sense of Autism module-90 minutes 

 

  • Autism Education Trust-Making sense of Neurodivergence module-90 minutes 

 

  • Autism Education Trust -Developing Inclusive leadership

    This AET module, delivered through WTT, covers the following:

    To provide leaders with an understanding of: 
    •The need for good autism practice in schools.
    •The theories of leadership and the characteristics of an effective inclusive school leader.
    •The importance of school leaders developing an inclusive vision, strategy and culture.
    •The key concepts that underlie effective change management to develop inclusive schools.
    •The role of effective professional development in equipping staff to implement these changes, to ensure inclusion at all levels in schools.

 

  • Autism Education Trust-Progression Framework

          This AET module, delivered through WTT, covers the following:

 

  • Becoming familiar with the key features and content of the AET Progression Framework.
  • Knowing how to use the AET Progression Framework to identify priorities and set learning intentions for individuals.
  • Knowing how to use the AET Progression Framework to provide evidence of progress.

 

 

  • WTT Exploring Social communication differences

This WTT session for parents/carers  will cover:

· What are Social Communication differences?
What might this mean for my child, me and our family?
Identifying my child’s strengths and areas for development
Exploring an ‘approach’ to parenting, caring and supporting those ‘next-steps’

 

  • WTT Supporting a Dual Diagnosis of Autism & ADHD 

During this session, attendees will

  • Explore the complexities of supporting CYP’s who have a dual diagnosis

  • Share best practice and experiences with others

  • Explore strategies for success
